Three reasons to consider the new Mercedes-Benz GLB

The 2021 Mercedes-Benz GLB arrived on the market during the year and offers an impressive combination of interior space, agility, practicality, and performance. This is a three-row SUV that’s easy to drive around the city and doesn’t take too much space in the garage. It’s a great option for buyers who want versatility, but don’t want a bulky vehicle. Here are three things that set the GLB apart from the pack.

It has a lot of interior space

The 2021 Mercedes-Benz GLB offers 570 litres of total cargo space with all seats in place, and over 1,800 litres of cargo space with the rear seats folded down. That makes the GLB more spacious than its rivals, and it is also the only option in the segment to offer a third row of seats. For young families or active buyers, this level of practicality will surely be appreciated.

It offers plenty of performance

The Mercedes-Benz GLB isn’t just spacious, it’s also fun to drive and offers impressive performance. The standard engine powering the GLB is a 2.0-litre, turbocharged four-cylinder that delivers 221 horsepower and 258 pound-feet of torque. This engine is paired with an 8-speed automatic and 4Matic all-wheel drive is standard. This gives you more than enough power to pass or accelerate with confidence, the GLB reaching 100 km/h in just 6.9 seconds.

There’s also a more powerful option in the form of the 2021 Mercedes-AMG GLB 35. This engine is also a 2.0-litre, four-cylinder unit but it delivers 302 horsepower and 295 pound-feet of torque. That’s enough to power it to 100 km/h in just 5.2 seconds.

It has the technology you expect from Mercedes-Benz

The new 2021 Mercedes-Benz GLB offers the list of active safety and connectivity technology you expect from a Mercedes-Benz luxury vehicle. It indeed offers features such as Mercedes-Benz User Experience which allows you to control the infotainment system via natural voice commands. It also offers the full range of Mercedes-Benz driver assistance technologies that can detect potential danger and intervene to prevent an accident.
