The new 2021 Mercedes-Benz GLA packs impressive features

The new 2021 Mercedes-Benz GLA has been redesigned from the wheels up this year, with Mercedes-Benz engineers keeping everything buyers loved about the previous GLA, and improving on interior space, design, technology, efficiency, and versatility. The new 2021 Mercedes-Benz GLA is safer, and comes with a range of impressive features that enhance comfort, performance, safety, and connectivity.

It is the perfect SUV to take your family on your next summer adventure, or to carry active couples to their next biking, hiking, or camping site. With over 1,400 litres of cargo space in the back, you will never run out of space in the new 2021 GLA.

A long list of standard features

The 2021 Mercedes-Benz GLA offers a long list of standard safety, connectivity, and luxury features. Despite being the most affordable SUV in the Mercedes-Benz lineup, it still offers the features one expects from a Mercedes-Benz vehicle.

The new 2021 Mercedes-Benz GLA comes standard with MBUX technology, Mercedes-Benz’ latest infotainment system which doubles as your personal assistant on the road. Located within two centre 7.0-inch touchscreens, the MBUX system allows the driver to interact naturally with the vehicle to adjust various settings using logical voice commands. Using the command “Hey, Mercedes” the driver is then connected to vehicle and can adjust various features like climate and audio without pressing a single button. This is an impressive feature that you won’t find elsewhere in the segment.

Mercedes-Benz is also known for safety and delivers with the 2021 GLA. A range of active safety technologies are included standard. These include ATTENTION ASSIST which can warn the driver if signs of fatigue or drowsiness are detected, as well as Active Brake Assist which can warn the driver if there’s a potential danger ahead. If the driver fails to react to this danger, the system will automatically apply the brakes or increase braking force to prevent an accident.

Other features available standard in the new 2021 Mercedes-Benz GLA including heated front seats, remote start from the Mercedes me mobile app, power front seats with 3-position memory, heated windshield wipers and a rearview camera.

Efficient power in every situation

The 2021 Mercedes-Benz GLA is powered by a 2.0-litre, turbocharged four-cylinder that delivers 221 horsepower and 258 pound-feet of torque. This engine is refined on the road and quiet, but it also delivers on performance. It is capable of reaching 100 km/h in just 6.7 seconds and it is paired with 4Matic all-wheel drive as standard equipment. This means that you always have the necessary traction and stability to face the toughest wet or snowy conditions.
