The Mercedes-Benz EQS is a luxury electric sedan that combines sleek design with cutting-edge technology. It is part of the brand's EQ electric vehicle lineup and is the first fully electric S-Class model.

The 2023 Mercedes-Benz EQS is powerful, and charges very quickly

Under the hood, the EQS 580 4MATIC trim uses dual motors that generate a combined 516 horsepower and 631 lb-ft. of torque. The accelerations are riveting; the EQS can sprint from 0-100 km/h in 4.1 seconds. That’s impressive for a large, comfortable sedan. It handles very well, thanks to the available four-wheel steering, but also the advanced AIRMATIC suspension system that can adjust the suspension to road conditions and driving style.

Range and charging are both important in Canada with our changing climate. The EQS is powered by a 107.8 kWh battery that provides a range of up to 547 kilometres on a single charge. The vehicle can be charged using a variety of charging options and charge times will vary depending on the type of charger. 

For example, using a Level 2 home charger, the EQS can be charged from 10-80% in approximately 11 hours. However, using a Level 3 fast charger, the EQS can be charged from 10-80% in only 37 minutes. You can also charge the EQS at home using a household outlet.
