New Performance Acceleration On-Demand Upgrade Now Available for EQE and EQS Customers

Mercedes-Benz announced a brand-new over-the-air update at the end of April that allows EQE and EQS owners to improve the performance of their electric vehicles with just the touch of a button. The optional Acceleration Increase update is available for a one-time purchase or on a yearly subscription basis, with a monthly option coming soon.

Let's take a closer look at the new Acceleration Increase upgrade.

The Acceleration Increase on-demand upgrade is an over-the-air update that enhances performance in select Mercedes-Benz electric vehicles. Currently available for the Mercedes-Benz EQE 350 4MATIC and EQS 450 4MATIC, in both sedan and SUV versions, this update boosts horsepower from 288 to 348 hp, a 60 hp increase in the EQE 350 4MATIC sedan and SUV. This results in a one-second faster 0-100 km/h time.

For the 2023 Mercedes-Benz EQS 450 4MATIC sedan and SUV, the upgrade is even more significant, adding 80 hp for a total output of 435 HP. This reduces the 0-100 km/h time to just 4.8 seconds.
