Mercedes-AMG Unveils New GT 63 PRO 4MATIC+ with Enhanced Performance and Agility

Mercedes-AMG has introduced the latest addition to its GT lineup - the 2025 GT 63 PRO 4MATIC+. Unveiled at the Goodwood Festival of Speed, this new model promises improved performance and agility, particularly on the racetrack. Set to arrive at dealerships in 2025, the GT 63 PRO 4MATIC+ combines enhanced power, refined aerodynamics, and advanced cooling systems to deliver an exceptional driving experience.

Increased Power and Performance

The heart of the GT 63 PRO is its Handcrafted AMG 4.0L V8 biturbo engine, now producing 603 horsepower - an increase of 26 hp over its predecessor. Torque has also been boosted to 627 lb-ft, a 37 lb-ft improvement. These enhancements result in impressive acceleration, with the car sprinting from 0 to 200 km/h in just 10.9 seconds and reaching a top speed of 317 km/h.

Advanced Cooling System

To maintain optimal performance during intense driving conditions, Mercedes-AMG has significantly upgraded the cooling system. Two new radiators have been positioned in the front wheel arches, while top-mounted radiators cool the differentials and transfer case. Electrically operated water pumps and improved underbody airflow further enhance cooling efficiency, ensuring consistent performance during extended track sessions.

Aerodynamic Refinements

Aerodynamics have been meticulously refined to improve handling and stability. The GT 63 PRO features a unique front fascia with carbon fibre air deflectors, an AIRPANEL active air control system, and a fixed rear wing. These modifications reduce aerodynamic lift at the front axle by 30 kg and increase downforce at the rear axle by 15 kg. Underbody air deflectors, inspired by the Mercedes-AMG ONE, further optimize airflow.

Enhanced Agility Features

The GT 63 PRO comes standard with an AMG carbon ceramic brake system, featuring six-piston fixed calipers at the front and single-piston floating calipers at the rear. Lightweight 21-inch forged wheels are fitted with Michelin Pilot Sport 5 tires, with the option of Michelin Pilot Sport Cup 2 R tires at no additional cost. These components contribute to improved handling and track performance.

Motorsport-Inspired Design

The exterior showcases the AMG Exterior Carbon Fibre Package, which includes a front splitter, side sill trims, rear diffuser, and rear wing in carbon fibre. Inside, the car features AMG Performance seats and a steering wheel in Nappa leather and microfibre, emphasizing its sporty character.

Everyday Usability

Despite its track-focused enhancements, the GT 63 PRO maintains daily usability. It offers a spacious 2+2 seating arrangement and incorporates advanced technologies such as AMG ACTIVE RIDE CONTROL suspension and active rear axle steering to enhance the overall driving experience.

As Mercedes-AMG continues to refine its high-performance offerings, the 2025 GT 63 PRO 4MATIC+ stands out as a compelling option for enthusiasts seeking both track capability and everyday practicality. With its combination of increased power, advanced aerodynamics, and enhanced cooling, this latest addition to the AMG GT family promises to deliver an exhilarating driving experience both on and off the racetrack.
