Performance, Range, and Charging Time

The 2024 Mercedes-Benz EQB 300 4MATIC SUV is engineered with dual electric motors that deliver a seamless blend of power and efficiency. With a front-mounted asynchronous motor (ASM) and a rear permanently excited synchronous motor (PSM), this vehicle achieves a total output of 225 horsepower and 288 lb-ft of torque. This robust powertrain setup enables the EQB 300 to reach a top speed of 160 km/h while ensuring an impressive electric range of up to 340 km, ideal for both daily commutes and longer journeys without frequent stops for recharging.

Charging the EQB 300 is both flexible and efficient, supporting a variety of charging infrastructures. The SUV features a 70.5 kWh lithium-ion battery that can be charged using either AC or DC systems. For Level 2 AC charging, it supports a capacity of 9.6 kW, which allows for a charging time from 0 to 80% in approximately 5 hours and 55 minutes. Additionally, for faster charging needs, the EQB 300 accommodates Level 3 DC fast charging at a maximum capacity of 100 kW, drastically reducing the charging time to about 32 minutes for an 80% charge.

The 4MATIC all-wheel drive system ensures the EQB 300 is versatile across all driving conditions, providing both stability and power. Safety is paramount, with features such as adaptive braking technology, blind spot assist, and an advanced driving assistance package. The improved sensor technology further supports safe and comfortable driving, making the EQB 300 a reliable companion on the road.

Sustainability and Charging

Mercedes-Benz is not just pushing the envelope in vehicle technology but also in sustainability. The EQB 300 is part of a broader initiative to enhance charging infrastructure. The "Mercedes me Charge" service simplifies the charging process, providing access to an extensive network across North America. Additionally, the development of new high-power charging hubs through strategic partnerships underlines Mercedes-Benz's commitment to a sustainable driving future.
