A look at Mercedes-Benz electric vehicles coming down the road
January 28 2022,
Mercedes-Benz has multiple new electric vehicles coming down the road in the near future that will follow the Mercedes-Benz EQS electric sedan which was recently unveiled. The new 2022 Mercedes-Benz EQS is just the start and soon a full lineup of electrified Mercedes-Benz vehicles will be available on the market. Let’s take a look at the upcoming Mercedes-Benz electric vehicle lineup that will go on sale under the Mercedes-EQ banner.
Mercedes-Benz EQS
The Mercedes-Benz EQS has just gone on sale in Canada with a starting price of $144,200. It features 516 horsepower and 567 kilometres of range as well as all the luxury features you expect from a Mercedes-Benz premium sedan.
Mercedes-Benz EQE
The Mercedes-Benz EQE will essentially be the electrified version of the Mercedes-Benz E-Class sedan, but like the EQS it will have its own design. The EQE was shown in October at the Munich Auto Show.
Mercedes-Benz EQE SUV and EQS SUV
The Mercedes-Benz EQE SUV and EQS SUV are as the name implies electrified sport utility vehicles that will sit as electrified versions of the GLE and GLS luxury SUVs. Again, they won’t be identical to these models and they will be part of their own distinct lineups, but they will slot within the EQ range like the GLE and GLS slot in the Mercedes-Benz SUV lineup.
Mercedes-Benz EQB
The Mercedes-Benz EQB will be arriving in the near future as a small subcompact electric SUV very similar in size to the current Mercedes-Benz GLB.
Mercedes-Benz EQG
Another model shown in Munich last fall, the EQG is a fully electric Mercedes-Benz G-Class, essentially. It has the square design and details of the G-Class, but with a decidedly more modern overall style.
Mercedes-Benz EQC
The Mercedes-Benz EQC is actually on sale in Europe. It has the same size as the GLC here and will be Mercedes-EQ’s compact luxury SUV offering.
