2023 Mercedes-EQ electric vehicles on the way

Mercedes-Benz has a full lineup of electric vehicles on the way in 2023 including two new sport utility vehicles, a new sedan, and a few new electrified AMG vehicles as well. Mercedes-Benz will eventually offer a comprehensive lineup of electric vehicles spanning just about every segment, just like the current gas-powered MB lineup. With so many models coming soon, we thought we would give you an overview of the Mercedes-Benz electric vehicles we will see next year.

Mercedes-Benz EQB

The new Mercedes-Benz EQB might just be the most highly anticipated model on this list. The new EQB is based on the current GLB small luxury SUV and like the GLB, it promises a lot of cargo capacity and a welcoming passenger compartment where everyone will be comfortable, all with a small footprint that’s perfect for navigating a crowded downtown area.

It also promises impressive performance with a standard 288-horsepower engine, and range should be between 400 and 450 kilometres when it is made official. Pricing was announced at just $75,700 for the new small electric SUV.

Mercedes-Benz EQE

The Mercedes-Benz EQE will essentially serve as the electric equivalent of the E-Class sedan. It is smaller in size and interior space than the EQS, but it is nevertheless spacious and welcoming both in front and in back. It will also be offered in a sporty and dynamic AMG trim, marking the first iteration of an AMG fully electric sedan. With over 700 pound-feet of torque and 677 horsepower, this new AMG EQE will be quicker than any current AMG sedan on the market. Range is expected to top 450 kilometres while pricing should start at under $100,000.

Mercedes-Benz EQE SUV

The new EQE SUV will be another fully electric Mercedes-Benz vehicle to keep an eye on in 2023. Unveiled earlier this month, the new EQE SUV is a midsize, fully electric luxury SUV that will join the new EQS SUV next year. The EQE SUV will be offered in two versions, the 350 4Matic and 500 4Matic, while a new AMG model will also be available. The new Mercedes-AMG EQE 4MATIC+ SUV will be the first AMG electric SUV. Power will reach 516 horsepower in the EQE 500 4Matic SUV and 677 horsepower in the AMG EQE SUV.

Mercedes-Benz EQS SUV

The range-topping Mercedes-Benz EQS SUV is the flagship Mercedes-EQ electric SUV. It will be the most spacious and the most luxurious, and offer the most refined experienced. More spacious than the EQE SUV, it has already started to arrive on the market although 2023 will mark the arrival to full production. It features 516 horsepower, over 450 kilometres of range, all-wheel drive, a massive Hyperscreen housing the latest MBUX infotainment system and 170-kW charging capability.
